悬念揭秘:拨款之谜在科技创新报告中
中国人民大学中国调查与数据中心(NSRC) recently conducted a nationwide survey of 3,114 residents aged 18-60 to gauge the public's awareness and perception of science and technology innovation. The findings were presented at a report launch and expert forum titled "Unveiling the Pulse of Science: Building Bridges for Innovation."
According to the report, titled "National Public Perception Survey on Science and Technology Innovation," respondents exhibited high recognition and satisfaction with achievements in four key areas: 5G communication, consumer internet, aerospace engineering, and rail transportation. These technologies have made significant impacts on daily life.
In contrast, scores for industrial internet, artificial intelligence (AI) with large models, and biomedicine were lower than average. Dr. Zhou Chongxiong from the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Strategic Consulting Research Institute noted that this limited recognition among highly educated individuals reflects these technologies' lack of tangible benefits for the general public. Future progress in these fields should focus on practical applications.
The survey also highlighted public appreciation for contributions from research institutions (4.43/5), private enterprises (4.29/5), universities (4.16/5), and government bodies in driving scientific innovation.
Professors Xu Xiang at Central University of Finance & Economics emphasized that private enterprises possess strong internal drivers due to their competitive market environment; therefore they contribute significantly to technological advancements.
Moreover, leading tech companies such as Huawei (>4/5), DJI (>4/5), BYD (>4/5) enjoyed high ratings alongside Tencent (<3.7/5) Xiaomi (<3.7/5). This indicates that China's private sector has played a vital role in promoting technological development since reform began.
The study recommends five measures to foster continued innovation:
1st - Optimize innovation environments through education integration.
2nd - Refine policies balancing development & security concerns.
3rd - Strengthen enterprise roles while promoting entrepreneurship spirit & incentives.
4th - Enhance international cooperation via opening-up strategies.
Lastly – Cultivate an innovative culture enhancing public knowledge about science & fostering tolerance towards failure.
